Every January, between 20,000 and 30,000 Catholic pilgrims journey into town from all over Central America to see the Black Christ crucifix at the church in El Sauce.
He looks over the town every day from atop the church, which ALWAYS has the perfect fluffy white clouds and a bright blue sky as a backdrop.
The real black Christ is inside, protected behind glass.
Sometimes, I find teenagers doing bike tricks. And then it's an even better photo as people head into mass.
It's a block from my house, so it's a pretty commute each day.
